Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required License: South Carolina or Multi-state/compact license required at the start of the contract Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Scrub experience is preferred Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There are five Cath lab rooms plus a hybrid OR. Types of cases include: Right and Left Heart Cath Diagnostic, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, Peripheral, and Vascular procedures. On-call is required for 1-2 nights a week and one weekend every six weeks. Holiday call may also be possible. Candidates must provide a radiation badge. First-time travelers are accepted. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Candidates should be aware that hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity from August to September. All pre-start compliance must be completed on time for the proposed start date. Candidates with a pending South Carolina license must provide proof of application or confirmation of the ability to complete the walk-through process. Travelers cannot report to the facility until the South Carolina license has been issued and is active. The facility prioritizes non-local candidates. Consideration will be given to local candidates within a 60-mile radius at a different rate.
