First-time travelers NOT accepted unless 3 years of recent CVOR experience . Preferred: Experience in open-heart surgeries, vascular procedures, and complex cardiovascular cases . Certifications & Licensure: Active TN or Compact RN License (must comply with NLC guidelines; no pending licenses accepted). BLS (AHA) (required). ACLS (AHA) (preferred). BSN preferred (not required for this role). Technical Skills: Cerner EMR experience (preferred). Scrub & Circulating Duties: Proficiency in CVOR-specific procedures (e.g., CABG, valve replacements, aortic repairs). Schedule & Logistics Shift: Days (4x10-hour shifts, 07:00–17:00) or 5x8s (subject to change based on unit needs). Call Requirement: Yes (frequency not specified; expect nights/weekends). Weekends: As needed (minimal details provided). Unit & Surgical Details Patient Population: Adults (CVOR-specific; no pediatric cases). Case Mix: Open-heart surgeries (CABG, valve replacements).
