Pay Information $2,161 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 15 hours (4:30 PM - 8:00 AM) Experience: 2 years required License: Michigan state license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Infusion and wound care experience required Description: Implements the agency program of full-time professional nursing service to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor in accordance with agency standards and policies. Initiates and provides medically prescribed skilled nursing care and/or health counseling that contributes to the treatment of the medical condition, achievement of the rehabilitation potential, and/or reduction of pain and other symptoms. Makes the initial visit to assess the patient's physical and emotional status, needs, and resources through observation, interview, and analysis of records. Prepares the nursing plan of care in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment, based on problems identified in the nursing assessment and provides patient teaching using the Care Plan/Standard of Care. The coverage area is somewhat flexible and requires significant driving. This position includes a hybrid of scheduled visits and on-call responsibilities. Visits are scheduled at the beginning of the shift, while the remainder will be as needed. Wound care and infusion experience is necessary for this role.
