Pay Information $2,161 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience required. License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating C-sections, and newborn care including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support. Description: The facility has 44 licensed beds. Facilities are not Trauma Designated. This is a teaching hospital with community schools of nursing. There is a minimum patient census of eight. Patient ratios will follow AWHONN guidelines. There is one CNA per shift. A resource team is available 24/7. OB physicians and pediatricians are on-site 24/7. Lactation consultants are part of the support staff. No remote tele-monitoring is conducted. Technology includes EPIC for electronic medical records, Alaris for IV pumps, Omnicell for medicine dispensing, and Phillips GE Corometrics fetal monitors. The position requires floating to other facilities within regional scope of practice as needed. The traveler will be compensated for travel time if floating mid-shift. Weekend rotation includes working every other weekend. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Requests for time off can be approved for up to six days, excluding holidays. Shift times are from 7 PM to 7 AM with a scheduling cycle of every six weeks.
