The unit will also involve general surgical procedures such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy, wound debridement, and dialysis access placements. Nurses will be expected to manage remote telemetry monitoring and care for patients on peritoneal dialysis. Special equipment utilized includes wound vacs and medication dispensing systems.
