Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/28/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - PCU - Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 25 Patient Ratios: 4:1 days / 5:1 nights Unit staffing description: 1 CNC, 6-7RN, 2 tech, 1 US Type of equipment: Alaris Pumps, tele-tracking, Imobile Communication, B450 Monitors, Pyxis Documentation system: Meditech Procedures performed on unit: Glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, Dressing changes, EKGs, peritoneal dialysis Hospital Specifics- Certifications Required: ACLS, NIH, & EKG rhythm certification Scheduling requirements: Full time- 36 hrs & every 3rd weekend. Part time 24 hrs & every 3rd weekend, PRN- 3 shifts a month with one day being a weekend. Travelers/Contract- 36 hrs & every other weekend. Floating policy: On a rotating system to meet needs of hospital Patient Experience requirements: Triaging acute care patients, identifying life-threatening rhythms Requested Skill Set: Neuro & Cardiac experience Dress Code: (Required uniform) Black scrubs (RN), Royal Blue (Techs), Grey (US).
