We are seeking a Key Account Manager in the Central US Region to manage all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and major regional integrators. The Key Account Manager role plays a critical part in building and executing sales strategies to drive growth, and engage meaningfully with crucial accounts throughout the duration of their relationship with Biamp.
How you'll contribute:
Engage in pre-sales activities with Key Accounts including business planning, product demonstration, training, and joint-selling efforts with their clients. Coordinate internal Biamp team meetings, develop go-to-market strategies, draft implementation plans and align internal resources as necessary, including developing ways to effectively articulate the Biamp value proposition
Collaborate on account strategies with Biamp sales team members and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Exceed implementation, retention, and satisfaction goals by identifying Key Account challenges, pain points, and aligning Biamp solutions and services to create and deliver value in a timely manner
Continuously track reporting and dashboard metrics to ensure sales and implementation objectives and timelines are on track; also ensuring that obstacles and issues are identified early. Execute an engagement and collaboration plan for each key account
Lead quarterly business reviews (as required) with your Key Account executive teams, key stakeholders, and Biamp leadership. Drive agendas, develop and deliver content
Communicate efficiently and collaboratively with your clients, meeting their sense of urgency
Assist the over-arching Biamp team with opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell with Key Accounts
Other duties assigned by your Manager
A successful candidate should have:
5+ years of account management experience within the Audio/Visual industry
2+ years of field sales experience working with Key, Enterprise, or Strategic accounts
Strong business development skills, including excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills
Foundational understanding of professional AV technologies, and current industry practices regarding system design, deployment, and operation
Ability to create quick, strong rapport with all types of influencers: engineers, salespersons, support/logistics, and executives
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously
Attention to detail and follow-up
Capacity to learn, adapt and apply ideas in constantly evolving situations
Ability to travel up to 50%
Work environment:
This is a remote position based in the Central US region
50% travel (within region), occasional travel outside of the assigned territory may be required
Must be located near a major airport in the Central US region with preference given to candidates located in (or willing to relocate to) the greater Chicago area

The total compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $135000, which includes a base salary and quarterly bonus incentive. This range represents the expected hiring parameters for candidates within the designated territory. However, the final offer may be influenced by various factors, such as the candidate’s location, expertise, experience, and current market conditions.
